Jürgen Renn named to The German Academy of Science and Engineering

The German Academy of Science and Engineering advises politicians and society on future issues relating to technical science and technology policy

The German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech) has added 25 new members, including Professor Dr. Jürgen Renn, founding director of the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology and director of the Department Structural Changes of the Technosphere.

As a member, Renn will provide his scientific expertise to acatech's independent, public policy, and social advisory services on a voluntary basis.
