Main Focus

Naihui is a PhD student in the FINDER project. FINDER stands for Fossil Fingerprinting and Identification of New Denisovan Remains from Pleistocene Asia, and aims to identify hominin remains among fragmented bones from key archaeological sites. Naihui will focus on finding special faunal remains from tiny bones in China. The identification of these remains will be completed through a combination of techniques, including ZooMS collagen fingerprinting, radiocarbon dating, and ancient DNA.
