Main Focus
Dr Lucy Timbrell is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Human Palaeosystems Group at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology and the Human Origins Group in the Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool. Her work employs a variety of quantitative approaches, such as geometric morphometrics, eco-cultural niche modelling and specialised statistics, to investigate the articulation between material culture, demography and palaeoenvironments in the African Middle Stone Age.
