Archaeologist and archaeobotanist, with expertise and experience in the study of prehistoric and early historic agriculture, plant economy and the use of plants in diet and ritual. Higher education: DPhil in Archaeobotany at the University of Oxford; MPhil at the University of Nottingham; MA and BA studies at the University of Belgrade (courses in Prehistoric, Classical, Medieval and Near Eastern Archaeology; Archaeological Methodology; Museology; Epigraphy; Numismatics; Ancient, Medieval and Byzantine History; Ancient Greek and Latin). Professional experience: research (pre- or post-doc) at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the University of Kiel, in various local and international projects (e.g., Çatalhöyük Research Project, Vinča Project, NEOTECH, The Rise of
Metallurgy in Eurasia, BIRTH, Mesolithic-Neolithic Danube Gorges, TOTL,
European Land Use at 6000BP, Communities of Later Prehistory in Serbia) and in excavations in Serbia, Türkiye, Portugal, Slovakia and Germany.
