Archaeologist and archaeobotanist, with expertise and experience in the study of prehistoric and early historic agriculture, plant economy and the use of plants in diet and ritual. Higher education: DPhil in Archaeobotany at the University of Oxford; MPhil at the University of Nottingham; MA and BA studies at the University of Belgrade (courses in Prehistoric, Classical, Medieval and Near Eastern Archaeology; Archaeological Methodology; Museology; Epigraphy; Numismatics; Ancient, Medieval and Byzantine History; Ancient Greek and Latin). Professional experience: research (pre-, post-doc or as associated researcher) at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, University of Belgrade, University of Kiel, Austrian Academy of Sciences, University of Bucharest, University of Algarve; in various local and international projects (e.g., Çatalhöyük Research Project, Vinča Project, NEOTECH, The Rise of
Metallurgy in Eurasia, BIRTH, Mesolithic-Neolithic Danube Gorges, TOTL,
European Land Use at 6000BP, FEDD, Communities of Later Prehistory in Serbia); and in excavations in Serbia, Türkiye, Portugal, Slovakia and Germany.
